How we Help

House of Fortitude provides subsidized housing for disadvantaged populations. Whether they earn an income or not, House of Fortitude subsidizes their rent costs to make their housing affordable. While also providing funds for housing, we also provide Workshop Events on various topics led by experts in an engaging format. During these workshops, participants learn life skills which will benefit them beyond participation in the program. Some examples of workshop topics include: Budgeting and Personal Finance Management, Career Options, Health and Nutrition. We follow through with periodic check-ins with the participants to ensure they are meeting their long and short term goals in preparation for a sustainable permanent lifestyle.
